シャネル・ネクサス・ホールの使命は、ガブリエル　シャネルのピグマリオンとしての理念を受け継ぎ、新進気鋭のあるいは名を成した芸術家に対し、自身の新たな表現を模索する機会を与えることにあります。
NAOKIは著名写真家として高く評価されており、その作品は広く知られています。ですから、もはや世界に何かを証明する必要などありません…ただし、自分自身に何かを証明する必要はあるのかもしれません。
だからこそ、彼は今回与えられた挑戦を受けたのでしょう。長年たずさわり成功を収めた分野で、これまでとは異なる新しい何かを作り出すという挑戦を。
その成果である「9girls」は、見る者を圧倒します。
NAOKIは、10本の寓話を通じ、9人の若い女性の美と輝きを明らかにします。そこではまるで、あらゆる洗練を極めたスナップショットのように、あらゆるディテールが完璧に組み合わされています。
なぜなら美と完璧は、私たちシャネルにとってそうであるように、NAOKIの辞書におけるキーワードだからです。

The mission of the CHANEL NEXUS HALL, in the spirit of Gabrielle Chanel's Pygmalion impulse, is to give artists, blossoming or well known, a forum and the means to explore new venues in this art.
NAOKI is a famous and respected photographer whose work is widely appreciated. As such, he does not need to prove anything to the world though... except, perhaps, to himself.
This is why he has accepted the challenge offered to him, working on something new and different in a field that he has been successfully exploring for many years.
The result of the "9girls" is stunning.
NAOKI is revealing the glamour and radiance of 9 young ladies through 10 fairy tales, like highly sophisticated snapshots where every detail fits to perfection.
Because perfection and beauty, like for CHANEL, are key words in the vocabulary of NAOKI.
